Chinese dissident artist Ai Weiwei covers “Gangnam Style.”  Can’t quite believe it. Certainly can’t stop watching. His cover has, of course, some political commentary. Ai Weiwei’s remix of South Korean rapper Psy’s megahit is called “Grass Mud Horse Style.” The phrase “grass mud horse” is a dirty pun in Chinese used in dissident jabs at Chinese authoritarianism as a symbol of anti-censorship struggles: the meaning and use of the phrase are explained more fully in this 2009 NYT article by Michael Wines
